First group of beginner surfers for 2025

The year kicked off in true Scottish fashion, blustery winds, unpredictable skies, and a sea that was as lively as our excitement. But that didn’t stop us. Our first surf lesson of the season was fully booked in under a day, and the overwhelming response reminded us just how much this community is growing.

Rosie and Jess led a group of ten incredible women of all ages and skill levels into the water. Some were returning surfers eager to push their skills to the next level, while others had never even touched a board before. No matter their experience, each one brought enthusiasm, determination, and a willingness to embrace the waves.

From wobbly first pop-ups to confidently riding their first waves, it was a session filled with progress, laughter, and the unbeatable feeling of being out in the sea. There’s nothing quite like that rush of catching a wave, and watching everyone share in that joy made it all the more rewarding.

This was just the beginning, and if today was anything to go by, it’s going to be an incredible season ahead. Here’s to more salt in our hair, waves under our boards, and unforgettable sessions in the water!
